Why shoot Munich?
Munich layers royal Bavarian baroque, neo-Gothic civic architecture, and rolling green parks against an alpine horizon. Marienplatz with the Neues Rathaus, the twin onion-domes of the Frauenkirche, the formal symmetry at Nymphenburg, and the open English Garden are the recognizable backbone, and the Alps appear on the southern horizon on clear days. The city is bigger than Prague or Salzburg, so the routes need planning more than walking will solve.
On a Munich photo tour with me, you'll catch Marienplatz from the balcony viewpoint at golden hour, work Frauenkirche and the Residenz district through twilight, and ride out to Nymphenburg or the Olympia Park panorama for the wider compositions. We mostly walk inside the old town, with Uber rides for longer transfers between districts, so you'll never have to rush. Beginners leave with a sharper eye and confident use of aperture priority. Pros leave with compositions they wouldn't have found alone.
What you'll photograph
The frames you'll typically take home include Marienplatz at golden hour, Frauenkirche's onion-dome silhouette, Nymphenburg's formal gardens and palace, the English Garden's open green interior, Maximilianstrasse's axial perspective, and the alpine horizon on a clear day. We adapt the route to the weather and the subjects you like to shoot.
