Why shoot Prague?
Prague packs a thousand years of architecture into a riverside square mile. Romanesque rotundas, Gothic spires, baroque palaces, and Art Nouveau facades sit within a 20-minute walk of each other, with the Vltava river cutting through the middle. The light bouncing off the stone facades at sunrise and the lamps reflecting on the river at blue hour are what most photographers come here for.
On a Prague photo tour with me, you'll start before the crowds, shoot the iconic frames at their best light, and find the side streets that don't appear in guidebooks. We mostly walk between locations, with Uber rides for any longer transfers, so you'll never have to rush. Beginners leave with a sharper eye and confident use of aperture priority. Pros leave with compositions they wouldn't have found alone.
What you'll photograph
The frames you'll typically take home include riverside skylines at blue hour, hidden Mala Strana courtyards, Old Town squares before the crowds arrive, and the Vltava reflections that make Prague famous in print. We adapt the route to the light on the day and the subjects you like to shoot.
