Who I Am & How I Guide
My name is Jan Miřacký — Johnny is my long-standing nickname (sorry for the confusion 🙂). I'm a professional travel and landscape photographer, born and raised in Prague, and I've been guiding photography tours here for over a decade.
On my tours, I combine local knowledge, careful planning around light and timing, and calm, practical photography guidance. The atmosphere is relaxed and personal — no rushing, no pressure, and no "one-size-fits-all" teaching.
A Bit of Background
I don't have a formal degree in photography. I originally trained as an IT engineer, but photography and travel gradually took over — first as a passion, then as a profession.
That path allows me to do work I genuinely enjoy, guide people from all over the world, and still keep a healthy balance with family life. I approach guiding with the same mindset: professional, thoughtful, and human.
