Why shoot Český Krumlov?
Český Krumlov is a UNESCO-listed Renaissance town wrapped inside a tight horseshoe of the Vltava. The castle, the second-largest in Bohemia, rises directly above painted medieval facades, and from the right viewpoint you'll get the whole town in a single frame. The compactness is the point: in three hours you can shoot the iconic skyline, the river bend, and the castle interiors without rushing.
On a Český Krumlov photo tour with me, you'll catch the rooftops from the castle viewpoint at golden hour, work the river bend from the Lazebnický bridge through twilight, and find the painted-facade courtyards on Latran most visitors walk past. We mostly walk between locations, with Uber rides for any longer transfers, so you'll never have to rush. Beginners leave with a sharper eye and confident use of aperture priority. Pros leave with compositions they wouldn't have found alone.
What you'll photograph
The frames you'll typically take home include the panoramic castle-and-rooftops view at sunset, the river bend with the painted facades reflected at blue hour, the Renaissance courtyards inside the castle complex, and the medieval Latran street at first light before the day-trippers arrive. We adapt the route to the weather and the subjects you like to shoot.
